WASHINGTON Ag Network – KEVIN ROUNCE – In Dairy Grown, a new series focusing on young people who were raised in the dairy industry in Washington, the Dairy Farmers of Washington highlight Ashley Hanson, a 20-year-old Oklahoma State University student from Elk, WA.
Hanson is a third-generation dairy farmer at Darliane Farms who is now focused on getting a degree that will allow her to communicate and advocate for the dairy industry.
Hanson spent some time as a Dairy Ambassador while she was in high school and told the piece’s author Aleah Bright that she can’t wait to come back home to the farm.
You can check out the full story on the Dairy Farmers of Washington website [starting Thursday].
